HCPSS Seeks Members for Mathematics (Academic) Advisory Committee by August 4, 2023

The Howard County Public School System is seeking Howard County high school students, parents/guardians, community members, and staff to join the HCPSS Mathematics (Academic) Advisory Committee (MAC). The mission of the Mathematics Advisory Committee is to give support, lend its collective insights and advice to, and advocate for the HCPSS mathematics program.

The MAC serves as a forum for sharing ideas, information, and concerns, and suggesting initiatives for the continuous improvement and academic excellence of the HCPSS mathematics program.

Members serve a 2-year term and must be residents of Howard County.

Meeting Schedule (Held Virtually)

• September 28, 2023, 3:30-5 p.m.
• December 7, 2023, 3:30-5 p.m.
• January 25, 2025, 3:30-5 p.m.
• April 18, 2024, 3:30-5 p.m.
• June 6, 2024, 3:30-5 p.m.

Anyone interested in being considered to serve on the HCPSS Mathematics Advisory Committee should complete this interest survey by Friday, August 4, 2023.
