Board of Education Board Candidate Information Session Rescheduled for Feb. 10

The Howard County Board of Education Board Candidate Information Session previously scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 7 p.m., has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 7 p.m. The session will take place in the Boardroom at the Department of Education, 10910 Clarksville Pike in Ellicott City.

The session will include an overview of Board member duties, roles and responsibilities; the Board-Superintendent relationship; characteristics of effective Board members; and other related topics. Registration is not required, but interested attendees are requested to contact the Board office, khanks@hcpss.org or 410-313-7194, to ensure adequate materials are prepared.
