Sponsored by HCPSS and the Howard County Health Department, this free program will highlight the five core needs of children and teens as they grow toward sexual maturity and the five corresponding roles of adults in nurturing healthy sexuality. The guest speaker will be Deborah Roffman, a nationally recognized expert who has taught human sexuality at the Park School of Baltimore since 1975. She has consulted with more than 400 schools and youth serving agencies across the U.S. on curriculum development, teacher training, and parent education.
