Students in Grades 9–12 and their parents/guardians are invited to attend this workshop featuring in-depth information on the college application and admission process. RSVP online.

Workshop Topics and Times:
9–9:45 a.m.                 College Admission 101
Jill Altshuler, Reservoir High School Counselor
This session will emphasize how to research colleges, websites to access, and what colleges look for in an application.

9:45–10:30 a.m.          First Generation Student Panel
First generation college students and college graduates will speak on their experience navigating the complex college admission process. Tips and tricks of their experiences will be shared.

10:30–11:15 a.m.        Financial Aid
A Howard Community College financial aid representative will provide an overview of all aspects related to financial aid.

11:15 a.m.–12 p.m.    Break Out Q&A
Stations will be set up for individual questions.
