Dual-Enrollment Courses Information Session, Oct. 27

Howard Community College will host a parent information meeting to provide information and answer questions about dual-enrollment courses offered in HCPSS high schools. The dual enrollment option awards transcripted college credit from HCC. The courses are taught at the high schools, with tuition at a 60 percent discount.
The courses offered that currently earn college credit are:
- Teaching as a Profession, G/T, an elective course open to any student, earns three credits as EDUC 110 – Intro to Education.
- Advanced Culinary Science & Restaurant Management, part of the Culinary Academy, earns three credits as Food Prep 1.
- Principles of Business, earns three credits.
